Taking Chances

I cannot believe summer is almost on it’s way out.  It’s only just beginning to be consistently warm.  You know, minus all those chilly days and thunderstorms.  But I suppose that’s New England for you; experiencing all four seasons in one day.  With September just around the corner, it’s time to kick it back into school mode.  Unfortunately, I’ve already been experiencing the pre-stress of the stress I’m about to endure for another semester.  In about two weeks, I will start my senior year of college.  I cannot begin to tell you how fast these four years have flown by.  I swore, it was just yesterday when I had my 16th birthday party.

Anyways, it’s time to set aside the past for a minute because I’ve done some debating over the last several weeks about what I want out of this school year.

I’m currently employed in a retail store, working part time.  We are currently understaffed so work days have become incredibly draining and tiresome.  I was on a hunt for a new job but with school quickly approaching and some life obstacles at the moment, it didn’t seem like an appropriate time to be looking and starting a new job.

However, me staying at my current job is not my big realization.  I have decided to cut back to only working weekends again and focusing not only on my last year of college but also this blog.

This is something I feel very passionately about and for the first time have the confidence to put my all into it.

This is just the beginning, friends.  I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me.

Stay tuned,

Victoria
