I’m scared.

Don’t get me wrong, I still think this is the best time of year! The leaves are changing, the air is crisp, there’s pumpkin flavored everything (you know you love it) what’s not to love?

It’s also the halfway mark into the fall semester. This is also the time where I question all my life decisions up to this point and start daydreaming about stuffing my face with mashed potatoes.  “JUST A FEW MORE WEEKS BEFORE THANKSGIVING” I say to myself as I write what it seems like the same paper over and over again.

But then it hit me…I work in retail. There are no break. There will be no relaxing to be had.  Instead, you will find me somewhere in a pile of clothes probably crying.

Currently at school so I can’t talk for long but look out for a retail survivor’s guide coming soon.

Finally, be nice to those who work in the retail business.  Every time a customers says, “how are you?”, I simply smile and respond with “can’t complain” cause I LITERALLY CANNOT COMPLAIN.

Gotta go to class,

Victoria
