Music Monday #4

Hi Friends,

It’s Monday! That means, I officially survived my first week of the Spring Semester. HipHipHooray! During the time off, I discovered and rediscovered some new tunes both from different artists but also some oldies that you’re probably tired of hearing about now.

Shall we get into it?

Never Forget You – Zara Larsson & MNEK

Never Forget You – Zara Larsson & MNEK

Category: Pop

I LOVE THIS SONG! And how stunning is Zara Larsson in this music video?!

I don’t remember how I stumbled across this song but I have probably listened to this song at least once or twice A DAY since I found it.

If you have any more recommendations from either one of the two, let me know!

Kiss Me – Olly Murs

Kiss Me – Olly Murs

Category: Pop

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a slight celebrity crush on Olly Murs.  He was a charmer on X Factor UK and I’ve been a fan ever since.

I wish his music would make it’s way across the pound so I can hear his music more often.

Give him a listen, he’ll brighten your mood. Pinky Promise!

Say Love – JoJo

Category: Pop

SHE IS BACK. I REPEAT, JOJO IS BACK! Ah I waited for the day I could finally say that. JoJo is free from her old label and her music is back and better than ever.

Instead of releasing just one new single, WE GOT THREE and Say Love has to be my favorite.

I just adore her. She deserves this.

Perfect – One Direction

Perfect – One Direction

Category: Pop, Rock

I’m a Directioner and I’m not afraid to admit it. However, I will admit that I haven’t been keeping up as much as I did with the first, second, and even third album(s).

Perfect was definitely a reminder of how much I love 1D. Their vocals just keep getting better.

Ugh and I mean look at them.

Pillow Talk – Zayn Malik

Category: Pop

I know, the irony right now with me just mentioning One Direction.

Is it bad I felt guilty for loving this song as much as I do. My 1D fangirl heart hurts but there’s no denying Zayn’s talent.

By the way, Gigi Hadid and Zayn?! Thoughts?

Lay It All On Me – Rudimental feat. Ed Sheeran

We The Generation (Deluxe Edition)

Category: Dance, Jungle/Drum’n’bass, House, Rock, Electronic

I can’t believe I almost forgot to mention this song. Believe it or not, this song plays all the time at work and I still don’t hate it.

It’s Ed Sheeran. I just love that man’s voice. He’s seriously one of my favorite artist of all time.

I can listen to him 24/7/365.

So there it is, folks! This was my fourth installment of Music Mondays, hope you checked out something new or rekindled an old love.
